Develop, install, audit and re-design Quality Management Systems (including Process Mapping, Quality Manual, ISO 9001: 2008 Mandatory Procedures, Non Conformity Investigations, etc.) with different customers. Receive External Audits in order to achieve ISO 9001: 2008 Certification.

I was heavily involved in a Risk Hazard Analysis for PET Plant in Recife, Brazil (largest PET Plant in the world). Develop and Install a new Management of Change System. Lead CAPEX Projects to enhance product quality, improve performance and reduce cost through Management of Change Culture.

Production/Quality Manager
Lead the Commissioning and Start Up activities for the second PET Plant, achieving Zero Lost Time Accidents and Zero Environmental Incidents. Manage and assure the continuous manufacturing process 7 days/week through the application of Predictive and Preventive Maintenance Programs in order to keep the manufacturing process running without a major equipment failure. Lead the Production Team (15 engineers and 120 technicians) and the Quality Control Team (10 Quality Control Technicians) to operate always in a safe manner to ensure all the operations are conducted in line with the HSE Policy and Mexican legislation to continuously meet goals in Equipment Reliability, Product Quality and Productivity within allocated budget. Process Engineer
Continuously analyze and troubleshoot several process problems such as Safety Issues, Equipment Reliability, Product Quality, Plant Debottlenecking, etc. Participate in investigation teams as member as well as a Leader including Core Process Optimization and Product Quality Complaints Investigations using Quality Tools such as Cause-Effect Diagram and 8D´s. Lead several projects in order to improve equipment reliability, product quality and productivity. Develop, install and perform training for all the Process Documentation for Operations such as Operating Procedures, Production Recipes and Quality Variables Control Charts for DCS operators including Plant Start Up and Shutdown Procedures.

Production Coordinator
Design the Product Traceability System (check List and procedures). Lead the Commissioning and Start up activities for the first PET Plant (100,000 tons per year) to achieve first prime product on time without a Lost Time or Recordable Accident. During ongoing operations coordinate with Maintenance Team the Equipment and Instrumentation Maintenance activities priorities to keep the plant running without a major equipment failure.

Shift Team Leader
I was recruited among more than 400 candidates nationwide. Develop Operating Manuals for Pre.Polymerization and Polymerization Operating Phases. Participate in the selection and training of 48 Operating Technicians.
I was heavily involved in HSE activities such as Pre Start up Safety Review (PSSR), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Safety Management Processes (Permit to Work, Confined Space, etc) to be ready for the Commissioning and Start Up of the PET Plant.
